An elaborate diamond and sapphire pendant that pairs crisp geometric shapes with curving lines in the classic Art Deco fashion. The 14k white gold drop is pierced with fine filigree and engraved with flowers. A .15ct old European cut diamond is center set in a milgrained lozenge, with a bright blue synthetic sapphire teardrop above it. Every bit of the lovely pendant is embellished. This piece is a conversion jewel made from a vintage stick pin. It hangs from a fine gauge modern 14k white gold rope chain. Circa 1920.
Details.....The chain is 18" long, and the pendant measures .43" by .80" with bale. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
