A pretty vintage steatite stone scarab claw and bezel set in a swivel hoop band. The band is marked both 14k and 585, which is the common European mark for 14k gold. The Scarab has an array of hieroglyphs on the reverse. The scarab has special meaning in Egyptian lore, where it was believed that the beetle rolled the sun across the sky. The setting dates to the mid-20thc.
Details.....The ring is currently a size 7.5. I would prefer not to size this ring. The scarab measures 16.6mm x 9.4mm, and the band is 2.5mm. In Good Vintage condition. You should expect some wear on antique and vintage jewels; we consider it part of their charm.
