Otherworldly moonstones have a magical adularescence, an effect caused by light scattering between their microscopic layers. This romantic antique pendant features a radiant blue moonstone, set in a delicately scalloped 11k gold claw setting. The cabochon moonstone is reminiscent of a dewdrop or a soap bubble, and the elegant presentation allows light to illuminate the delicate azure hue of the gem. The pendant hangs from a decorative twisted gold jump ring bale on a modern 14k gold rope chain. Circa 1900.
Details.....The moonstone pendant measures .22" by .27". The chain is 18" long. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on your vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of their charm.
