We love the colorful scarab jewels that were popular in the mid 20th Century. This richly colored brooch is set with wonderful natural gem scarabs, hand carved from tigers eye, chalcedony, carnelian, and agate. The scarabs are set along a jaunty flourish of buttery-yellow gold filled metal. A security pin completes the brooch, and the back is marked "1-20 8 12-k" indicating gold filled metal. This piece is vibrant and cheerful, with a delightful aura of stylized nature. Circa 1950.
Details.....The brooch measures 1.96" long and 0.65" wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
