Old Mine Cut Diamond & Engraved Gold Belcher Ring

A highly desirable Victorian 15ct gold belcher ring, exquisitely engraved and set with an antique diamond. The diamond is a chunky .32ct old mine cut with the depth and sparkle these wonderful stones are prized for; it's held in eight prongs over a delicately fluted head. Raised bars flank the low-profile head, spanning shoulders engraved with forget-me-not flowers and leaves. The interior of the band bears the sweet inscription "Charlie to Clara." A romantic antique engagement ring that is as wearable as it is lovely. Circa 1890.

Details.....Currently a size 6.25. The top of the ring measures 10.5mm by 7.8mm, and the band is 2.1mm wide. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
