Engraved Rosy Gold Hinged Victorian Bangle

A wonderful late Victorian hinged bangle of engraved rosy gold. Two bands of subtle 9ct rose gold are twisted to form a helix that spans the top of the oval bracelet. The bands are heavily engraved with a rich foliate design. The underside of the bangle is a slim, highly polished tube. The hinged design makes it easy to put on and take off, no Lady's Maid required, with a safety chain for extra security. This is a delightful piece, comfortably light and absolutely lovely. Circa 1890.

Details.....The bracelet is 4.9mm wide at the front and 2.4mm wide at the back. The exterior measures 2.37" by 2.12", and the interior measures 2.2" by 1.92". The piece weighs 10.5 grams. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
