An oval brooch elaborately wrought of silver cannetille. Cannetille is a style of metalwork that employs intricately coiled wire, where tiny wires are curled, piled, and twisted to form complex patterns accented with tiny balls. The pin is embellished with delicate engraving and beading, with a little flower at its heart. Lacy and lightweight, this romantic brooch will look lovely worn on a blouse or other light fabric. Circa 1960.
