An elegant little sterling silver bar pin, decorated with black and cream enamel. Crisp black enamel frames a field of guilloché enamel exquisitely engraved with two different patterns. Black chevrons and delicate embellishments contrast crisply with the eggshell-colored enamel. The pin's back is marked "Sterling" and finished with a classic c-clasp. So tasteful, this slim brooch will look equally at home on the lapel of a business suit or the collar of a lacy blouse. Circa 1910.

Guilloché enamel is a decorative technique in which a very precise, repetitive pattern is machine engraved into metal, then covered with a layer of translucent enamel. The intricate engraved geometric patterns are visible through the enamel.

Details.....The brooch measures 2.56" long and 0.26" wide. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of their charm.
