Butler & Wilson Amethyst & Sterling Clip Earrings

Gorgeous amethyst and sterling silver earrings. They have a dramatic American Southwest appeal, yet they hail from Chelsea, London's fashionable shopping district. Big, bold cabochons of dreamy amethyst are bezel set within a double twist of sterling silver wire. The earrings are clip-on and easy to wear whether your ears are pierced or not. The backs are marked "Sterling" and "Butler & Wilson." Circa 1970.

Butler & Wilson began in 1969 selling antique jewelry in Chelsea's Antiquarius market. Fifty years later, they offer collections of original, handcrafted pieces from their Fulham Road boutique.

Details.....These earrings measure 1.25" in diameter and have a 0.57" profile. In Very Good Vintage Condition. As with all vintage jewelry, wear should be expected in keeping with their age. We consider it to be part of their charm.
