Engaging Engraved 9ct Rosy Gold Locket

This engaging 9ct rose gold locket is an oval engraved with flowers and a shield. The shield is blank, ready to be engraved with significant initials or a date. The interior of the locket is clean, with no glass or frames. A jump ring bale suspends the piece from a modern 10k gold rope chain. The back of the locket is plain and polished, stamped "9ct Bk&Ft," which means the exterior of the locket is 9ct gold while the hinge and interior metal are not precious. This is a very pretty piece and a wonderful Mother's Day gift. Circa 1870.

Details.....The locket measures 0.92" by 1.25". The chain is 18" long. The piece weighs 7.1 grams. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique pieces; we consider it part of the charm.
