Luxurious Victorian Gold & Diamond Locket

A glossy gold Victorian locket engraved and set with a glittering antique diamond. The square 14k gold locket sits on point in a scrolled frame. Half of the locket is engraved with a hatched texture, and the other half is highly polished. A 0.20ct old mine-cut diamond is star-set on the polished half. The back is unadorned. The locket hangs on a vintage 18k gold curb chain circa 1950. The locket's interior is in good, clean condition, with two frames and one glass. This is a gorgeous piece with a luxurious weight. Circa 1880.

Details.....The locket measures 1.37" by 1.03". The chain is 18" long. The piece weighs 12.5 grams. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
