A Danish Modern sterling silver necklace with a romantic design of leaves and flowers. A collar of beautifully modeled leaf-links supports a three-dimensional rosebud drop. The necklace is finished with an integrated slide clasp. The back of the clasp is marked "Sterling", "Denmark", and with John Lauritzen's mark. Circa 1950.
The Danish silversmith John Lauritzen produced beautiful Danish Modern jewelry in Copenhagen from 1955 to 1981.
Details.....The necklace measures 15" long, each leaf is 12.4mm by 23.5mm, and the drop is 1.17" by 1.64". In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
