Danish Modern Sterling & Amber Ring by N.E. From

This fabulous Modernist ring is an exceptional example of Danish Mid Century jewelry design. A cone of warm, glowing amber sits at the center of a curved, square plate of sterling silver. The plate sits atop a heavy, wide band. The band is marked "FROM" and "925S." A dramatic piece that is highly collectable.

Niels Erik From ( N.E. From) was a Danish silver smith who produced beautiful jewelry for forty years. He opened his first workshop in 1931 at the age of twenty-three. From came to be one of the most prominent Danish designers working in sterling silver and semi-precious gemstones.

The top of the ring measures 17mm by 17mm with a 13mm profile. The band measures 4.7mm wide. In Very Good Vintage condition.
