This dramatic brooch features a flying bird depicted traditionally, possibly in an Incan or pre-Columbian style. The stylized bird is rendered in sterling silver, sitting on a convex tri-oval of hammered copper within a sterling silver border. Creating a striking graphic effect, with highly polished silver contrasting with the distressed-looking copper. The back of the brooch is marked "OSM 925" and finishes with a rollover pin clasp and a bale. Circa 1950.
Details.....The brooch measures 2.44" by 2.25". In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique pieces; we consider it part of the charm.
