A stunning Edwardian "dog collar" of paste-spangled silver panels on a choker made of multiple strands of jet beads. An elegant sliding clasp gives this beaded jet choker a seamless look. The silver plaques have an open work, floral design set with clear paste gems. Nine strands of faceted jet beads have been extended by the addition of English black glass beads. The glass beads are placed at the back of the neck. A very elegant look, dating from circa 1900.
