A Victorian-era English ring with unexpected details. The gently tapered 18ct gold band is center-set with a bright old mine-cut diamond; the .15ct stone is bead-set in an incised diamond shape. A soft oval is engraved around the top of the ring, creating the "eye" effect that was so popular at the turn of the 20th Century. Crisp arrows extend away from the oval, deeply engraved down the sides of the ring. It's a very subtle and interesting design. Circa 1890.
Details.....Currently a size 6. The band measures 6.6mm wide at the front and tapers to 2.5mm at the back. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should expect all vintage and antique jewels to show some wear; we consider it part of their charm.
