Arts & Crafts Ginkgo Motif Aquamarine Ring

An unusual and exquisite aquamarine ring with an Arts & Crafts ginkgo motif. The substantial 14k gold setting is signet-adjacent, with a raised, flattened top and wide shoulders. The aquamarine is a 2.60ct cushion cut, faceted to sparkle like water in the sun. The top of the ring is an open oval; the gem is held by four prongs, floating in the negative space. Ginkgo leaves are deeply etched in the gold, running down the shoulders and over the gallery. This stunning ring is gorgeous from every angle. Circa 1910.

This ring comes with an insurance replacement cost appraisal. The appraisal is done by an independent gem lab. The appraised value is $3550.

Gem Details.....The rectangular cushion faceted cut aquamarine weighs 2.6cts, moderately included and transparent, with Medium light, Very Slightly Grayish, greenish Blue (gB 4/3) color.

Details.....Currently a size 6. The top of the ring measures 16.2mm by 11.7mm, and the band is 4mm wide. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
