Avant-Garde Brass & Glass Swag Necklace

This brass and glass swag necklace recalls the European avant-garde of the fin de siècle. Bright orange art glass cabochons are set in elaborately worked brass panels; the panels are linked by draping chains. Brass arrows point to and from the dramatic central element. The necklace has a very short wearable length, a removable extender chain has been added. Wear this to a viewing of Klimt's Beethoven Frieze. Circa 1910.

Details.....The necklace is 13.5" long, 18" with removable extender. The central decorative element measures 1.60" by 2.37". In Good Antique Condition, as found. The extender chain is a later edition that, while serviceable, is not exactly complimentary to the piece. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it a part of their charm.
