19th Century Austro-Hungarian opulence, this bejeweled tiara is fit for a Princess. The semi-circular, silver gilt body of the crown is meticulously pierced and engraved with a lacy foliate design, it tapers in height from a tall centerpiece to slim terminals looped to accommodate ribbons. Bright green emeralds, fuchsia tourmalines, and natural pearls spangle the piece, and three pale green tourmalines are set prominently around the curve. Springtime hues bestow a faery romance upon this extraordinary jewel, it would be the crowning glory of your bridal trousseau. Circa 1850.
Details.....The tiara measures 4.75" wide, and graduates from .21" to 1.96" tall. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on Vintage and Antique jewels; we consider it a part of their charm.
