Birmingham Sapphire & Diamond 18ct Belcher Band

This Victorian belcher band features limpid sapphires and sparkling old mine-cut diamonds. Five gems alternate across the top of the 18ct gold ring, set in the classic belcher method with a multitude of small, claw-like prongs. The three center stones are squoval cushion cuts, the flanking sapphires are round; the sapphires have a .35tcw, the diamonds have a .20tcw. Glossy gold shoulders taper gently into a half round shank. Great in a stack or on its own, a belcher ring is a must-have for any antique jewelry collection. Bears English hallmarks for 18ct, Birmingham, and the year 1892.

Details.....Currently a size 7.5. The top of the ring measures 14.2mm by 5mm, and the band is 2mm wide. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should expect all vintage and antique jewels to show some wear; we consider it part of their charm.
