Copper jewels were all the rage from the late 1940s to the mid-1960s. From designer firms like Renoir and Matisse to small studio artists, this trend produced fabulous wearable art. This bracelet is a stunning example, signed for Matisse. A series of oval copper plaques are enameled in black and white. A band of elaborately worked copper links the plaques, creating a dramatically graphic look with interesting shapes and textures. This gorgeous piece is a well known Matisse design, very collectible. Circa 1950.

Details.....The bracelet is 6.5" long and 1.23" wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should expect some wear on all vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of their charm.
