Domed Onyx in Yellow Gold Art Deco Ring by Otsby & Barton

Handsome American Art Deco ring from Otsby and Barton. A deeply domed black onyx is studded with a single small diamond, set in a white gold lozenge. The ring's setting is sculpted in 10k yellow gold, with a delicately engraved bezel in a frame of twisted gold, and interesting details on the shoulders. Black and gold always knocks them cold, and a Deco ring in yellow gold is always a happy find. Signed "OB" for Otsby and Barton. Circa 1930.

American Jewelry manufacturers Otsby and Barton created pretty, decorative rings in the early 20th century. Otsby and his daughter were passengers on the Titanic, he perished while she survived.

Details....Currently a size 7.25. The top of the ring measures 13.2mm by 18mm, the band is 1.4mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. With vintage and antique pieces some light wear is to be expected and considered part of the charm.
