Electric Blue Rhinestone Earrings by Sherman

Bursts of electric blue rhinestones form these dramatic earrings from Sherman. Sherman was known for using the highest quality Swarovski crystals; this piece features indigo and periwinkle round and Aurora Borealis marquis-cut stones, prong-set in black enameled costume metal. The clip-on earrings climb up the ear in a flattering way. Signed "Sherman." Circa 1960.

Gustave Sherman founded his Montreal manufacturing company in 1947. By the 1950s, Sherman Costume Jewelry had established itself as Canada’s foremost costume jeweler. His work appeared on runways in Paris and New York. Sherman, whose slogan was “made to last a lifetime,” demanded the highest quality in workmanship and material.
