This Edwardian platinum and 9ct gold diamond solitaire ring has a surprisingly modern look. The flirty little .12ct old mine cut diamond is displayed in a square platinum head. Pinched and tapered platinum cathedral shoulders are layered over the 9ct gold body of the ring, creating a compact low profile style. The glossy gold band is a curvaceous half round. The interior of the band is marked "9ct Plat 4403," indicating the piece is English. Circa 1900.
Details.....Currently a size 7.5. The head of the ring measures 5mm in diameter, the band is 1.7mm wide. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should expect all vintage and antique jewels to show some wear, we consider it part of their charm.
