Georgian Jasper Necklace, Bracelet & Earring Suite

This late Georgian necklace, bracelet, and earring suite is a once in a lifetime find. Jasper's natural beauty is on display here, with nicely matched stones mottled in rich tones of cream, gold, red, and black. Both necklace and bracelet are in the rivière style; the oval stones graduate in size, set individually in fancy cut back collet frames linked by tiny rings. The effect is smooth, supple, and surprisingly lightweight, with beautifully-made, jasper-set clasps. The gorgeous earrings feature jasper drops suspended from smaller jasper tops on French ear wires. Our modern machine shows us the set's gold content varies from 12k to 18k, not uncommon for an early hand crafted piece. Circa 1830.

Details.....The necklace is 18" long, its stones graduate from .26" to .70". The bracelet is 6.5" long, its stones graduate from .24" to .35".  The earrings are 1.50" long, its stones measure .28" by .38" and .55" by .68". In Excellent Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique pieces, we consider it part of the charm.
