Kintsugi Inspired Turquoise and Gold Ring

A soft cornered rectangle cabochon of beautiful blue green turquoise is set in this sculpted 14k gold ring. Inspired by kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with precious metals. Kintsugi finds beauty in the imperfect, appreciating an object's history and transforming damage into art. The stone has been broken into two pieces, then repaired with 24k gold. The unique vintage turquoise nestles in a bezel of softly waving gold, set atop a wide flat band. Gold and turquoise are the perfect pairing, a favorite since time out of mind.

A hoard of American turquoise has inspired our new collection of handcrafted jewels. Each vintage stones is unique: they vary in color from blue to green, some have interesting matrix while some are so clear as to seem otherworldly. Each setting was Hand-fabricated in-house, using recycled gold.

Details.....Currently a size 5. The ring's top measures 21mm x 16.5mm, and the band is 3.6mm wide.
