Platinum Waves Old Mine Cut Diamond Deco Engagement Ring

This thoughtfully crafted platinum ring holds a luscious 1.57ct old mine-cut diamond. The diamond is pale yellow, and its delicate color is emphasized by bright white French cut accent diamonds. The center stone is artfully displayed, with triple claw prongs at both the top and bottom and embellished tabs on either side. Each shoulder is set with four accent diamonds, set in a row framed in milgrain engraving. The profile of the ring is pierced and engraved with magnificent Art Deco scrolls that resemble cresting ocean waves. An original double hoop groove is intact on the band. The condition of this ring is wonderful, with original details preserved for your enjoyment. This interior of the band bears a personal inscription reading "GMP to GHB Apr 1926." Details.....Currently a size 4.5. The top of the ring measures 7.9mm wide, and the band measures 1.8mm. In Excellent Antique Condition, with some wear in keeping with its age. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it a part of their charm.
