Moldavite is a type of tektite, a natural, green-colored glass formed by a meteorite impact in southern Germany about 14.7 million years ago. It has been used by humans since the Stone Age, and has been considered a talisman for centuries. Some believe it is the "Grail Stone" mentioned in Arthurian legends.
