Romantic Sapphire & Diamond Toi et Moi Ring

Toi et Moi, French for you and me, is the romantic name given to rings that pair two gemstones at their heart. In this particularly gorgeous example, a velvety blue sapphire nuzzles up to a brilliant diamond, the canoodling gems are set in a graceful 14k white gold bypass setting. The sapphire weighs .80ct and the diamond weighs .90ct; this asymmetry adds to the ring's charming fluidity. A curvaceous surround is exquisitely engraved and spangled with accent diamonds. The ring's top sits over a gracefully tapered band. This charmer will make a fantastic love token for any occasion. Circa 1930.

Gem Details.....The round faceted sapphire weighs .80ct, eye-clean and transparent, with a vB 6/3 color. The center early modern brilliant cut diamond weighs .90ct, with SI1 clarity and I-J color. Eight single cut accent diamonds have a .18tcw accent diamonds.

Details.....Currently a size 7. The top of the ring measures 15.3mm by 8.8mm, and the band is 1mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
