Romantic"Pearl" Heart Bracelet by Miriam Haskell

Wear your heart on your sleeve with this romantic Miriam Haskell heart charm bracelet. Faux pearl stations are wired on gold-tone metal, forming the bracelet's links. Haskell's signature faux pearls are made of glass; they have baroque shapes and a rumpled silk texture, some might say they are lovelier than natural pearls. The oversized heart charm is encrusted with wired seed "pearls," and a larger pearl drops from the heart's dimple. The bracelet fastens with a spring ring clasp and safety chain, a small tag signed "Miriam Haskell" hangs from the clasp. Utterly adorable. Circa 1950.

Miriam Haskell is one of the best known and most collectible names in 20th Century costume jewelry. She was an incredibly successful business woman, producing elaborate and highly detailed handmade jewelry for all of the brightest Hollywood Stars from the 1920s through the 60s.
