Simply Lovely English Old European Cut Diamond Solitaire

This turn of the 20th Century English diamond solitaire ring is simply lovely. A cheeky .43ct old European cut diamond sparkles in a platinum basket, held in eight engraved prongs frosted with 18ct yellow gold. Unusual, and very attractive. The 18ct gold band features a low profile, pinched cathedral shoulders, and a half round band. The basket resembles an icy crown and tiny circles nestle inside the shoulders, giving this ring a delightful profile. The band's interior is stamped "750," bears English marks, and the maker's mark "ST." Circa 1900.

Details.....Currently a size 7. The ring's head measures 5.6mm in diameter, and the band is 2.5mm wide. In Very Good Antique Condition, you should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of their charm.
