Sterling Silver & Turquoise Concho Style Studs

Sterling silver and turquoise stud earrings, reminiscent of Native American conchos. Round, shallow silver domes are engraved with delicate flower petals. Tiny green turquoise gems are set at the center of the conchos. These post earrings are marked "Sterling" on the back. Everything about these studs is light, bright and pretty. Circa 1950.

Conchos are metal disks, traditionally used with Western horseback riding saddles. Usually made with two slits to allow saddle strings to pass through the concho securing the saddle's skirts to the saddle tree.

Details.....These earrings measure .78" in diameter. In Very Good Vintage Condition. As with all vintage jewelry, wear should be expected in keeping with their age. We consider it to be part of their charm.
