Stunning Lapis Cocktail Ring in Luxe 18k Gold

This lapis lazuli cocktail ring is stunning, with exquisite detail covering every one of its many millimeters. The generous lapis cabochon is midnight blue, spangled with starry flecks of pyrite. This dreamy oval stone is set in a heavy 18k yellow gold bezel within a delicate wirework frame. A dramatic gallery of heavy gold filigree makes this ring gorgeous from the underside. Engraved spatulate cathedral shoulders taper into a decorative band girded in twisted gold work. High carat gold and lapis have been a favorite combination since Antiquity, and the reasons are plain. Circa 1950.

Details.....Currently a size 5. It is preferable to not size this ring. The top of this ring measures 15.4mm by 20.2mm, and the band is 1.9mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
