A superb niello chain pairing exquisitely enameled silver with pretty gold links. Elongated silver links are delicately striped with black niello. These fancy links are connected by short segments of gold curb chain. One end of the chain finishes with a silver watch hook embellished with niello and the other with a gold bolt ring. You can clasp this necklace in a few different ways to adjust the length; you can hang your favorite bits & bobs from either the hook or the bolt. Circa 1900.
Details.....The chain is 47" long, and the links are 3.2mm wide. The bolt ring measures .40" in diameter, and the hook is .83" long. In Very Good Antique Condition. Small imperfections are to be expected and considered part of their charm.
