The Victorian obsession with astronomy and astrology is reflected in the jewelry of the period. This necklace is a replica of an original crescent moon necklace from my personal collection from the 1880s. You'll even see the little dent in the back mine came with. The Victorian Crescent Moon necklace is available in 14k yellow gold. The moon is solid, not hollow, which makes it wonderfully durable and gives it a nice weight.
This necklace is exclusively ours. Each piece from our 720 jewelry line is hand-cast and hand-finished here in Portland using recycled gold from a certified green refinery.
Details.....The moon measures 22mm by 18.5mm. The 14k gold chain is 18" long.
