Victorian Gold Band with Jaunty Diamond Flourish

A gracefully modeled band of scrolled 18ct gold is set with a jaunty flourish of five graduated old mine cut diamonds. The ring's shoulders are sculpted into a spiraling acanthus leaf motif, then pinched and tapered into a slim band. The gold is warm and glowing and the funky diamonds have a lot of character. This antique band would make a wonderful commitment ring. Hallmarked for England, Birmingham, 18ct and 1891-92.
