Woman in the Moon Art Nouveau Locket

Wonderful Woman in the Moon Art Nouveau locket. The locket's front features a woman's face in profile. A paste-set crescent moon curves around the back of her head. Her hair blows wildly about her as she gazes at the sparkling Morning Star. Repoussé metal work give this piece its three-dimensional quality. The back is plain. The locket is in good antique condition; the frames are intact, displaying photos of a charming couple. He is quite dapper with a high starched collar and she looks lovely in her elaborate hat. The clasp is nice and tight. This romantic Victorian piece hangs on a vintage gold-filled cable chain. Circa 1890.

Details.....The chain is 18" long and the locket measures 1.10" in diameter. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of the charm.
