Sterling & Gold English Medal Fob

This English sterling silver medal fob is quite elegant, with a rose gold shield framed in a gracefully draped banner. This piece dates to the middle of World War II. The medal has no personal engraving, front or back. The piece is hallmarked for Birmingham, sterling silver and the years 1942-43. It is also stamped RD631670 and signed with the maker's mark for William Hair Haseler, a silversmith producing out of Birmingham at the time. This fob makes a lovely pendant.
