Gothic Romance Pavé Garnet Cross on Antique Beads

The irresistible decadence of Gothic romance. A generous cross of sanguine garnets hangs on a necklace of antique garnet beads. Rose cut garnets are pavé set in rosy jeweler's brass, also called garnet gold for its popular use in 19th Century Bohemian garnet jewels. The cross has a decorative bale set with a cluster of garnets. This pendant hangs on three strands of garnet beads; the beads are strung on silk and finished with a modern hook and extender chain of recycled gold filled medal. Wear this gorgeous necklace as you wander the lonely moors, searching for your lost love. Cross circa 1860, beads circa 1870.

Details.....The cross measures 1.48” by 2.56”, 3.05” with bale. The necklace is 15" long, 19" with the extender chain.
