A Queen Victoria "Widow Head" bronze penny, dated 1900, has been drilled and hung on a sterling silver chain. One side of the coin depicts Queen Victoria in profile and the legend "VICTORIA DEI GRA BRITT REGINA FID DEF IMP." The other side depicts Brittannia, seated. The bar-link silver chain is modern and finished with a lobster claw clasp.

This line of jewelry is all about my two favourite things, the art of adornment and the art of re-purposing. I use pieces that are no longer viable in their original configurations by taking them apart and creating fresh, wearable pieces of jewelry.

Details.....This chain measures 15" long and the coin measures 1.2" in diameter.

Each item from this line of jewelry is unique and incorporates re-purposed vintage and antique pieces, small imperfections are to be expected and considered part of their charm.
