1940's Palladium and 14k Diamond Band
A detailed yet simple 14k yellow gold and palladium 3 diamond band. During the 1940's 2 tone jewelry was all the rage and prior to our involvement in WW2 platinum and white gold were the most common white precious metals used to achieve this look, but the alloys used in white gold were reserved for the war effort and Palladium was used in its place. When we find a 2 tone piece marked Palladium this dates it easily to the 1st 1/2 of the 1940's. This diamond band is very versatile, it will go nicely with both white and yellow gold jewelry. Great on its own, in a stack or paired with your engagement ring.
Details.....Currently a size 5.75, one free sizing is included. The band measures 9.9mm by 2.3mm at the top and the band measures 1.8mm at the back. In Very Good vintage condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of their charm.
