Amazing Edwardian Style Orb Locket in Sterling Silver

This amazing sterling silver orb locket dates to the Edwardian era. Two curved arms clasp the orb, holding it shut. Raise the arms and the locket unfolds to reveal five hinged picture frames. The frames have no glass. This piece has an interesting futuristic aesthetic; one might reference Steampunk, but I would prefer not to. A jump ring bale suspends the locket from a long sterling silver box chain. Circa 1975.
Details.....The chain is 30" long, and the locket measures 0.96" by 0.77" by 0.94" long with bale. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique pieces; we consider it a part of the charm.
