Decadent Amethyst & 18k Gold Statement Ring

This Neoclassical style ring is bold in size, and the rich tones of the 18k gold and amethyst make a luxurious statement. An oval cut amethyst of the deepest purple is set horizontally in a raised bezel. Swags of gold, scrolled shoulders and beading adorn the top of the ring. The decorative top of the ring tapers into a substantial band. The interior of the ring is marked "18k" and signed "Frederic." A decadent ornament, this will make a very dramatic, unconventional engagement ring. Circa 1980.

Details.....Currently a size 8. The ring may be sized up or down two sizes free of charge. The top of the ring measures 21.3mm by 13.8mm and 3.5mm wide at the band. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of the charm.
