This romantic amethyst ring has wonderful Austro-Hungarian detail crafted in sterling silver. An oval-cut amethyst is bezel set and framed in silver whorls and glittering marcasites. The amethyst is a dreamy pink-purple color. Each split shoulder is delicately sculpted and set with a marcasite. The scalloped underside of the open gallery is engraved and the band is beautifully sculpted, this ring is gorgeous from every angle. Circa 1920.
Details.....This ring is a size 6.25. It cannot be sized. The top measures 13.2mm by 18.3mm and the band is 2.6mm wide. In Good Antique Condition, the amethyst has some facet wear. You should always expect some wear on your vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of the charm.
