Angel Blowing Bubbles Art Deco Pendant
This whimsical Art Deco pendant has a lot going on. A disc of etched glass is set in a black enameled silver-plate frame. The frame is set with four tiny white rhinestones and a tassel of delicate silver chain dangles from the bottom. The clear etched glass depicts an angel leaning against a pillar and blowing bubbles from a long pipe. Historically, bubbles symbolize the fragile and ephemeral nature of life. The pendent hangs from a black cord with a black enameled slide. Pretty adorable. Circa 1920.
Details.....The chain is 30" long. The pendant measures 1.68" by 1.31" with a 0.8" tassel. In Very Good Vintage condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of their charm.
