Antique Gold & Platinum Locket with Star Set Diamond

An elaborate Victorian swivel locket in 14k gold and platinum. The front of the locket features a round domed panel with a star set old mine cut diamond at the center. A second platinum star is engraved around the 0.10ct diamond. Alternating stripes of gold and platinum encircle the center panel. The back of the locket is unadorned gold. The locket is held on a swivel arm in an ornate frame embellished with lion heads. The locket closes tightly and the interior is in very good, clean condition. Circa 1890.
Details.....The locket measures 1.96" by 1.59" including the bale. In Excellent Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on Vintage and Antique jewels, we consider it part of the charm.
