Antique Rose Cut Diamonds and Garnet Ring

I'm often amazed at the modern look of antique jewels. This ring is a lovely combination of structure and undulating lines. The rust red garnet in the center is cut in a long marquis and framed in rose cut diamonds set alternately in squares and prongs. The 12k gold is old pale rose hued and the band smooths and curves up to the top. The overall top of the ring curves in a design reminiscent of a paisley. Circa 1840-50.

Please contact us if you need this ring sized more than two sizes, it may be possible and will have a small fee. The front of the ring measures 12.5mm x 10mm and the band measures 2.4mm at the back.
