Aquatic Mid Century Cocktail Ring in Gold & Pearls

A fantastical aquatic scene adorns this bold, beautiful Mid Century 14k gold and pearl cocktail ring. Four grey baroque pearls are swathed in fronds of seaweed at the top, while sweet seahorses peek around cattails on the shoulders. Do cattails, seahorses and seaweed all coexist in nature? Who cares? They do here, and this ring is gorgeous. Difficult to believe this piece isn't signed by the artist, but that happens sometimes. Circa 1950.
