Sophisticated 1930s Architectural Engagement Ring

This Art Deco diamond engagement ring has sharp, architectural lines rendered in two tone gold. A 0.10ct old mine cut diamond sits in a square 18k white gold head. Tiers like armored plates in alternating white and yellow gold form the ring's stepped shoulders. Engraved milgrain detailing enhances the ring's geometry. The 14k yellow gold body of the ring tapers into a slim band. The interior of the band is marked "Gem of Enchantment." So sophisticated, with the practical low profile indicative of the era.
