Art Deco Purple Crystal Bead Necklace
The fine quality of this necklace is immediately apparent. Gorgeous purple lead crystal beads alternate with clear glass beads and flattened bicone spacers. The purple crystals are faceted spheres, they are cool and heavy to the touch. The addition of smaller clear glass beads creates a pleasing graphic contrast. The beads are strung on supple white silk and the necklace is finished with a square sterling silver filigree clasp. This wonderful Art Deco necklace is perfect for lovers of the color purple. Circa 1920.
Details.....The necklace measures 26" long. The purple beads measure 13mm and the clear beads are 5.7mm. In Very Good Vintage condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it a part of their charm.
